I'm DAnny GRiesmer.

Photography has been my passion for 14 years, since I began to capture the stunning landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. I grew up in Monroe, Washington located near the magnificent Cascade mountains, a range of volcanoes and glaciers that extends from British Columbia to California. I was captivated by the beauty of nature, sometimes even skipping high school classes to go climb some of the local peaks.

Over the years, I expanded my photography interests and explored other genres, such as sports, weddings, wildlife, and anything else that appealed to me. I enhanced my skills and creativity through practice and experimentation. I learned how to cope with different situations and challenges, such as lighting, weather, and movement. I also developed the skill to tell stories with my images, whether it was a moment of joy, excitement, or wonder.

I am now a versatile and experienced photographer who can handle just about any assignment with confidence. I have a portfolio of work that demonstrates my talent and vision, and I am always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow as a photographer. I am proud of my body of work, but also humble and grateful for my journey.

My goal for this website is to display my work and give back to the photography community by offering a resource for other photographers to come to and learn a little bit about how I tackle a scene or situation, and maybe take something away from what they’ve read and apply it in the field.
